Storm "Rudiger" Brings Torrential Rain and Strong Winds to Morocco

The "Rudiger" storm is currently hitting Morocco, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds to several regions of the country. Extreme weather conditions are expected this Sunday and Monday, particularly in the northern and central regions, including Rabat, Casablanca, Fès, and Marrakech.
Winds reaching up to 90 km/h may disrupt maritime activities and travel along coastal roads. Local authorities are warning of the risks of flooding in low-lying areas and near rivers. Snowfalls are also expected in the mountainous regions.
Authorities recommend caution and advise against non-essential travel.
